Hello all! Finally a website update! One of the challenges of having a site like this is facilitating new uploads. I've been working on a new system to organize my image galleries, which is now up and running! This will allow me to add new photos MUCH more easily and thus I plan to add more frequently, so check back often! -Matthew

First, I just updated my Workflow Article to reflect my current workflow. I hope that you like it! Second, I am currently selling my well cared for Canon EOS-1D Digital SLR body. This camera is in great condition and has only seen my amateur usage... it has not been abused! I'm selling to finance the purchase of the upcoming Canon EOS-1D Mark II. This camera has served me well over the last year and a half and I'd like to find it a nice home. I have all the original boxes, manuals, registration, cables, batteries, charger, caps, straps, etc, including the original box. Let me know by email if you're interested and we'll discuss the details! If you want to see what this camera will do, just click on the galleries link above! -Matthew

Hello! I apologize for my lack of updates of the past months, but medical school has been keeping me busy and barely allowing time to shoot. To make it up, I just posted SEVEN new galleries of images made last year from Florida to New York to Connecticut. This is the largest addition ever to the website and I hope that you'll enjoy these new images! I have also slightly redesigned the front page. It has been a slow winter here so far and I haven't had much luck with the birds... hopefully it will thaw a bit soon and some of the water on the ponds will open back up! I'm looking forward to coming out of this deep freeze! ;) Thanks to all those that have emailed me nice comments and thanks for your patience waiting for these updates!

Hello again! It has been a busy two months since I last posted galleries, a time in which I have made two trips to Florida and created many many new images. I redesigned the front image to include one of the images of a Reddish Egret at sunset from my recent trip to Ft. Myers. In addition, I have consolidated all of my gallery catergories and redesigned the gallery page. I think it is much more user friendly and easier to use. I hope you think so too! I have posted FOUR new galleries, two from my local shoots and two from my Florida trips. I have tons of new material, so keep your eyes peeled for more new stuff soon! Enjoy!

First, I hope that all of you in cyberspace had a fantastic holiday season and a happy new year! Photographically, I have decided to concentrate on two types of subjects for the remainder of this winter: 1) ducks and 2) common "backyard" birds (i.e. titmice, juncos, chickadees, etc.). In that vein, I have just posted two new galleries containing images that I have recently taken. The first, entitles AVIAN GALLEY #10: Ducks is full of images of... ducks (big surprise)! The second contains images of.... drum roll... more ducks! It is located here: AVIAN GALLEY #11: More Ducks! Hopefully you will enjoy these new images and come back to see the ones I will be posting very soon!
