Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge, located in the shadow of JFK airport in Queens, NY, is perhaps the best place on the East Coast
to photography migrating shorebirds as they head to their wintering grounds. Juvenile and adults of an enormous variety of species can be photographed
there, including some rarities from time to time. I spent a good amount of time there this past fall and came back with the images you see here. I hope
