Sandy Point juts out into the New Haven harbor and provides important habitiat for both terns and plovers. I spent a great deal of time photographing these birds last summer and really enjoyed the time. Luckily, several pairs of skimmers successfully nested their this year as well. I hope that you enjoy this selection of images I made during the time I spent there.
